Ingredients (nutrition)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons melted butter
- 6 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
- powdered sugar for dusting
- grated chocolate for dusting
Preparation (instructions)
- Preheat oven to 375 degree F.
- Grease 1 qt baking dish with melted butter and dust with some sugar. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until light and fluffy.
- Beat in 1/4 cup sugar until form a meringue like and stiff peaks.
- In another bowl, beat egg whites with remaining sugar, vanilla and salt until light and creamy.
- Fold in egg white mixture with egg yolk mixture together.
- Pour mixture into prepared baking dish and bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes.
- Dust with powdered sugar and grated chocolate.
- Serve instantly.
