Peach cobbler recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 4 sliced peaches
  • 6 fl oz maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 8 oz flour
  • 8 fl oz milk
  • 2 egg whites

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degree F.
  2. Place peaches in glass dish.
  3. In a bowl, combine together maple syrup, half the amount each for ground nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger and cloves.
  4. Pour mixture over peaches and set aside for 20 minutes.
  5. In another bowl, mix well flour, milk and egg whites and pour over peaches.
  6. Dust remaining ground nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger and cloves on top.
  7. Bake in preheated oven for 48 minutes.
  8. Serve hot with vanilla ice cream.
