Ingredients (nutrition)
- 4 sliced pears
- 1 fl oz apple juice
- 4 oz plain flour
- 2 oz butter
- 3/4 teaspoon sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
Preparation (instructions)
- Preheat oven to 375 degree F.
- Arrange sliced pears in an ovenproof dish.
- Pour in apple juice and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine together flour, butter, sugar and ground ginger
- Spoon flour mixture over pears and lightly press down.
- Add some sugar on top if desired.
- Bake in preheated oven for 40-50 minutes.
- Serve hot with custard if desired.
