Pumpkin custard recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 3 lightly beaten eggs
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon grated nutmeg
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degree F.
  2. Scald the milk and add remaining ingredients.
  3. Pour mixture into 6 custard cups.
  4. Place over pan filled with hot water with 1 inch depth.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes.
  6. Serve warm.
