Strawberry baked apples recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 4 cooking apples
  • 2 fl oz strawberry jam
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • creme fraiche for topping

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degree F.
  2. Remove apple cores and slit a line around the centre of the apples.
  3. Place in an ovenproof dish.
  4. Fill centre of apples with jam and top with sugar.
  5. Add about 1 inch water to the dish and bake in preheated oven for 55 minutes.
  6. Serve immediately with creme fraiche.
