Ingredients (nutrition)
- 4 cooking apples
- 2 fl oz strawberry jam
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- creme fraiche for topping
Preparation (instructions)
- Preheat the oven to 350 degree F.
- Remove apple cores and slit a line around the centre of the apples.
- Place in an ovenproof dish.
- Fill centre of apples with jam and top with sugar.
- Add about 1 inch water to the dish and bake in preheated oven for 55 minutes.
- Serve immediately with creme fraiche.
