Zabaglione recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 5 egg yolks
  • 3 3/4 oz caster sugar
  • 5 fl oz sweet sherry

Preparation (instructions)

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together egg yolks and caster sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Place the bowl over a saucepan filled with simmering water.
  3. Add sweet sherry and whisk for about 8 minutes.
  4. Pour into individual wine glasses and serve immediately.
