Breaded abalone recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 4 abalone steaks, cut into slices
  • 2 tablespoons sunflower oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 lightly beaten eggs
  • 2 cups Italian breadcrumbs

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Beat abalone using a meat tenderizer. Set aside.
  2. Heat oil and butter under medium heat in a frying pan.
  3. Coat abalone in egg and then bread crumbs.
  4. Cook abalone for 1 1/2 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Serve hot.
