Ingredients (nutrition)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 30 shucked oysters
- salt and cayenne pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 1/2 cups grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1 1/2 tablespoons melted butter
Preparation (instructions)
- Preheat oven to 350 degree F.
- Grease casserole dish with 1 tablespoon butter and set aside.
- Melt remaining butter in frying pan.
- Stir fry breadcrumbs in butter until slightly brown.
- Remove from heat and add garlic powder and toss.
- Take 1/4 cup breadcrumbs mixture and place on the greased casserole dish.
- Place oyster in the dish and season well with salt and cayenne pepper.
- Sprinkle parsley, cheese and remaining breadcrumbs.
- Pour in wine and bake in oven for 14-16 minutes.
- Spoon melted butter on top and serve hot.
