Salmon and cheese casserole recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup white sauce
  • 2 cups grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups salmon flakes
  • 1 cup bread crumbs

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degree F.
  2. Add mashed potatoes in a lightly greased casserole dish. Set aside.
  3. In a bowl, mix well white sauce, cheese, cayenne and salt.
  4. Pour half the amount of sauce over potatoes.
  5. Add salmon in the remaining sauce in the bowl and pour over the casserole.
  6. Top with breadcrumbs.
  7. Bake casserole in preheated oven for approximately 18-20 minutes.
  8. Allow to cool for 3 minutes before serving.
