Ingredients (nutrition)
- 4 oz anchovy fillets
- 2 finely chopped garlic cloves
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- ground black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 1/2 tablespoons chopped parsley to garnish
Preparation (instructions)
- Soak anchovies in chilled water for 15 minutes, drain and dry with kitchen paper towel.
- Puree anchovies, garlic and mayonnaise in a food processor or electric blender until smooth and creamy.
- Season well with pepper.
- Stir in oil and lemon juice.
- Garnish with parsley and serve with toasted flat breads.
