Garlic mayonnaise recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 4 minced garlic cloves
  • 2 egg yolks
  • pinch of salt
  • 9 fl oz olive oil
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 tablespoon boiling water

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Add garlic, egg yolks and salt in a mixing bowl and whisk gradually using a hand held electric whisk.
  2. Add oil one at a time and continue to whisk until well blend and add in lemon juice.
  3. Whisk until smooth and creamy and stir in boiling water and give a quick stir.
  4. Store in a screw top jar in the refrigerator.
