Ingredients (nutrition)
- 1 1/2 lb smoked ham, cut into bite size pieces
- 1 1/2 lb pork sausage, cut into bite size pieces
- 1 qt boiling water
- 2 thinly diced yellow onions
- 2 lb thickly sliced potatoes
- 5 tablespoons chopped parsley
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
Preparation (instructions)
- Add ham and sausage in boiling water for 6 minutes.
- Drain and reserve liquid.
- Transfer ham and sausage in a saucepan and add remaining ingredients.
- Add enough reserved liquid to cover content.
- Cover and simmer gently until liquid reduced by 1/2.
- Adjust seasoning if required.
- Serve hot.
