Ingredients (nutrition)
- 1 cup flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 cup drained and grated raw potatoes
- 1 cup leftover mashed potatoes
- 2 lightly beaten eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- vegetable oil for frying
Preparation (instructions)
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk flour, baking powder and salt.
- Combine into grated potatoes, mashed potatoes and eggs.
- Add in milk and mix well.
- Heat oil in a large heavy skillet and drop potato batter when oil is hot enough.
- Brown for 7-8 minutes.
- Serve hot with sugar if desired.
