Mashed potatoes with cabbage recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 3 cups finely shredded green cabbage
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 6 cooked mashed potatoes
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • salt and ground pepper to taste

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Add cabbage, onion and water in a stock pot and bring to boil.
  2. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until cabbage is tender.
  3. Add in remaining ingredients and stir until evenly mixed.
  4. Serve hot.
