Ingredients (nutrition)
- 1/2 lb sweet potatoes, cut into chunks
- 1/2 lb Idaho potatoes, cut into chunks
- 2 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 1/4 cup half and half,
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
Preparation (instructions)
- In a saucepan filled with salted cold water, add in 2 types of potatoes and bring to boil.
- Simmer until soft and tender, drain and return to saucepan.
- Steam for 4 minutes under low heat and mash up the potatoes.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Serve warm.
