Ingredients (nutrition)
- 5 lb turkey breast
- vegetable oil
- kosher salt and ground pepper
- dried herbs and spices of choice: sage, thyme, garlic powder, onion powder
Preparation (instructions)
- Preheat oven to 325 degree F.
- Brush turkey with oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper, herbs and spices.
- Insert meat thermometer in the middle of turkey breast.
- Seal breast with aluminum foil and place on a wire rack in a roasting pan.
- Roast turkey until meat thermometer register at 170 degree F.
- Remove aluminum foil 30 minutes before turkey is completely done.
- Serve immediately.
