Roast turkey breast recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 5 lb turkey breast
  • vegetable oil
  • kosher salt and ground pepper
  • dried herbs and spices of choice: sage, thyme, garlic powder, onion powder

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degree F.
  2. Brush turkey with oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper, herbs and spices.
  3. Insert meat thermometer in the middle of turkey breast.
  4. Seal breast with aluminum foil and place on a wire rack in a roasting pan.
  5. Roast turkey until meat thermometer register at 170 degree F.
  6. Remove aluminum foil 30 minutes before turkey is completely done.
  7. Serve immediately.
