Ingredients (nutrition)
- 2 qt cider
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
1 dash salt
- 1 teaspoon cloves
1 cinnamon stick
1 teaspoon whole allspice
1 dash ground nutmeg
- orange slices
Preparation (instructions)
- Combine cider, sugar and salt in a saucepan.
- Tie spices in cheese cloth and add to cider mixture.
- Slowly bring to boil.
- Cover and simmer for about 25 minutes.
- Remove spices.
- Serve hot with orange slices in preheated clay mugs.
