Rich Date smoothie

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 1/2 cup pitted dates
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 peeled banana
  • 1/2 cup low fat yogurt
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes

Preparation (instructions)

  1. In a smoothie maker or electric blender, combine all ingredients except yogurt and ice cubes.
  2. Puree for about 4 minutes under high speed or until the dates are finely chopped.
  3. Add in yogurt and ice cubes and continue to process at high speed until smooth.
  4. Pour into a glass.
  5. Serve immediately.
