Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 1 tablespoon sherry
  • 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 6 oz beansprouts
  • 1 thinly sliced onion, separate into rings
  • 1 seeded green pepper, cut into thin rings
  • 1 seeded red pepper, cut into thin rings

Cooking Instructions

  1. To make the dressing, put sherry, light soy sauce, salt and ground black pepper in a screwtop glass jar, add 2 tablespoons water, seal tightly and shake well.
  2. In a large salad bowl, mix together beansprouts, onions and peppers.
  3. Drizzle the dressing over the salad, toss gently and serve.
