Simple Chinese cabbage salad recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 3 oz crushed ramen noodles
  • 10 oz cashew nuts
  • 1 chopped green onion
  • 16 oz shredded coleslaw mix
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup white sugar

Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat oven 350 degree F. Toast the crushed noodles and nuts until golden brown.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine green onions, coleslaw, toasted ramen noodles and cashew nuts.
  3. To prepare the salad dressing, whisk together cider vinegar, vegetable oil, soy sauce and sugar.
  4. Drizzle the dressing over the salad, toss and serve.
