Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 7 fl oz Greek style yogurt
  • 1 crushed garlic clove
  • 3 tablespoons finely chopped fresh mint
  • 1 teaspoon caster sugar

Cooking Instructions

  1. Peel and deseed cucumber. Thinly slice the cucumber.
  2. Put the thinly sliced cucumbers in a bowl and season with the salt. Set aside for 20 minutes.
  3. Rinse the cucumber under cold running water to flush away the salt. Drain well.
  4. Combine the yogurt, garlic, mint and sugar in separate bowl.
  5. Combine cucumber and yogurt mixture.
  6. Chill for 25 minutes before serving.
