Ingredients (nutrition)
- 1 cucumber
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 7 fl oz Greek style yogurt
- 1 crushed garlic clove
- 3 tablespoons finely chopped fresh mint
- 1 teaspoon caster sugar
Cooking Instructions
- Peel and deseed cucumber. Thinly slice the cucumber.
- Put the thinly sliced cucumbers in a bowl and season with the salt. Set aside for 20 minutes.
- Rinse the cucumber under cold running water to flush away the salt. Drain well.
- Combine the yogurt, garlic, mint and sugar in separate bowl.
- Combine cucumber and yogurt mixture.
- Chill for 25 minutes before serving.
