Ingredients (nutrition)
- 3 galia melons
- 4 oz green seedless grapes
- 1 star fruit
- 2 kiwi fruit
- 1 green dessert apple
- 1 lime
- 6 fl oz sparkling grape juice or champagne
Cooking Instructions
- Cut the melons in half and scoop out the seeds. Scoop out the fruit with a melon baller.
- Remove any stems from the grapes and peel.
- Thinly slice the star fruit and kiwi.
- Core and thinly slice the apple.
- Mix all the fruits together in a large mixing bowl.
- Thinly pare the zest from the lime and cut into fine strips.
- Blanch the strips in boiling water for 8 seconds, drain and rinse in cold water.
- Squeeze the juice from the lime, and toss gently into the fruit mix.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Just before serving, drizzle sparkling grape juice or champagne over the fruit and scatter it with the lime zest.
