Ingredients (nutrition)
- 1/4 head Iceberg lettuce
- 1/2 cup bacon pieces
- 1/2 finely chopped small onion
- 5 oz thawed frozen peas
- 2 chopped celery ribs
- 1 peeled and shredded carrot
- 1/2 medium chopped green bell pepper
- 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 cup croutons
Cooking Instructions
- Place the lettuce at the bottom of a deep baking dish.
- Sprinkle bacon pieces on top of it.
- Layer remaining vegetables and sprinkle with cheese.
- Mix mayonnaise and sugar in a separate bowl.
- Spread the salad dressing over the top of salad.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Toss and add croutons on top of it just before serving.
