Tomato and spring onion salad

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 9 tomatoes
  • 3 finely sliced spring onions
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions

  1. Put tomatoes in a bowl of boiled water for 30 seconds.
  2. Remove the tomatoes from the bowl and peel off the skin.
  3. Cut the tomatoes into wedges.
  4. Put the tomatoes in a dish and sprinkle with the spring onions.
  5. To make the dressing, whisk together the remaining ingredients and drizzle over the top.
  6. Set aside for 20 minutes before serving.
