Ingredients (nutrition)
- 2 crushed garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 3 tablespoons orange juice
- juice of 2 limes
- few dashes of Tabasco sauce
- 1 tablespoon caster sugar
- 7 oz canned flaked tuna in oil
- 14 oz drained and rinsed canned cannelloni beans
- 4 sliced spring onions
- 2 chopped celery sticks
- 1 tablespoon drained capers
- 2 1/2 tablespoons chopped fresh flat leaf parsley
Cooking Instructions
- To make vinaigrette dressing, put garlic, vinegar, orange juice, lime juice, Tabasco sauce and caster sugar in a screwtop glass jar, seal tightly and shake well. Set aside.
- Put tuna in a bowl. Add in beans, spring onions, celery and capers.
- Pour the vinaigrette over the tuna salad.
- Add the parsley and toss to evenly distribute the dressing.
- Cover and chill for at least 1 hour until ready to serve.
