Healthy cabbage soup

healthy and diet cabbage soup

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 1 shredded cabbage head
  • 2 thinly sliced carrots
  • 2 thinly sliced large onions
  • 1 diced large potato
  • 1 1/4 pt skimmed milk
  • 2 tablespoons low fat yogurt
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary

Cooking Instructions

  1. Put the cabbage, carrots, onions and potato in a saucepan with 1 1/2 pt water.
  2. Cover and cook slowly until tender.
  3. Add in milk, yogurt, bay leaf, dill and rosemary.
  4. Continue to cook for another 20 minutes.
  5. Serve while still warm.
