Ingredients (nutrition)
- 1 medium broken into florets cauliflower
- 1 roughly chopped onion
- 3/4 pt vegetable stock
- 3/4 pt milk
- 1 oz walnut
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
Cooking Instructions
- Add the cauliflower, onion and stock in a saucepan.
- Bring to the boil, cover and simmer for about 20 minutes until soft.
- Add the milk and walnuts and stir.
- Pour the contents of the pan into a blender to form a smooth puree.
- Pour back into a clean pan.
- Season well with salt and pepper and bring to the boil.
- Serve while still warm.
